Arnaldo Ribeiro

Arnaldo Ribeiro was born and raised in Portugal, and has been working in the jewellery manufacturing trade all his life.

When Arnaldo was 11, his father purchased a bike for him and his sister to share. It wasn’t what he liked so he agreed to work at his father’s jewellery manufacturing business with the aim to buy his own BMX.

As time went by, the jewellery trade gradually became an interest, and then a passion. Whilst managing school and working in the family business, he finished his degrees in jewellery design and metal technology.

In 2001, Arnaldo moved to the Algarve to become a jewellery teacher for a newly established school.

Then in 2002, he moved to the UK and became the head goldsmith for Emson Haig in Lakeside, Essex. He then moved on to become a head mounter for a very reputable workshop in Hatton Garden. This involved making masters for companies including Boodles, and making special pieces for celebrities including Nigella Lawson, Joss Stone among others.

In 2014 Arnaldo used his knowledge to start his own trade repair business in Chelmsford, Essex with his wife Michelle. This proved to be a great success and they decided to relocate to Leigh-on-Sea. Customers have the unique opportunity to witness the team working on individual pieces of jewellery in their open plan workshop.
